Judicial Separation

Judicial separation is granted by the court based on specific grounds, such as adultery, cruelty, desertion or other valid reasons recognised by the law. During a judicial separation in Hindu Law, the spouses retain their marital status, but their legal duties and obligations toward each other are suspended.
