Urban Planning and Development

Short title and extent. --(1) This Act may be called the Uttar Pradesh Urban Planning and Development Act, 1973. (2) It extends to the whole of Uttar Pradesh, excluding Cantonment areas and lands owned, requisitioned or taken on lease by the Central Government for the purpose of defence.
